Visiting the poor mud church on Tuesday car breaks taxi ride full of Rwandan’s dirt road mud church rain on a tin roof remembrances of Kibera woman congregation of men women children waiting for hours dressed in their best prayed for us starting at 5 a.m. prayed through the morning songs of praise words of encouragement faces bright children beautiful so much in the midst of nothing sadness and joy but isn’t that the world?

Father, bless my friend on his birthday. Give him strength and confidence as he encourages those in need of You. Lord, grant mercies upon him and Paul as they travel...and keep them safe.
Provide them wisdom, the words to say and the ear to listen so that the ones who they are close to can come to know You.
