India Prayer June 13th - 15th

Travel to Ooty to visit our friend and partner Murli Menon. His church ministry rescues girls from infanticide.

I can't begin to understand how anyone could intentionally murder their baby daughter. No matter what the circumstances of the parents, nothing can justify the taking of an innocent life. I fear that I may be overcome with great sadness seeing the faces of girls who were rescued, realizing the many who were not. Praise God that he does not leave us in our desperation! He comes to us and meets our need in his Son! May He be given glory and praise forever!

"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." (John 14:18)

My prayer...
That the saving act of God- his adopting us unto life- would be our strength. That our sadness would turn to joy. I pray that the church will reach into the lives of these young girls, delivering them from the wickedness of this world. Thank you Father for adopting me.

Petition...
Pray for the churches in India, that they would continue to show God's saving mercy by rescuing young girls from infanticide. Through this saving act, pray that these girls come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
