Satan will not allow missionary efforts to go unhindered. As children of God, we are engaged in the supernatural, a spiritual warfare that will continue until the end of the age. Where people are ‘un-reached’ they are still in bondage to the demonic strongholds of Satan. They are under the rule of Satan, in lands where God’s rightful kingdom has not yet been established. As Paul tells us, our enemy 'is not flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms'. So we must look to pray for the supernatural things of God to occur in places where they are not occurring; we pray for what only God can accomplish.
Where people are ‘un-reached’ they are un-churched, so we pray for God to plant churches in the midst of unbelieving communities. We also pray for God to raise up laborers to carry out the commands of our Father, to go into the lands where God is not proclaimed and to boldly do so.
