He moves in mysterious ways...

Gods ways are not our ways.

We go about our lives continually making plans that, which even when we are at our best, are foolishness to God.

Fact: God is expanding His kingdom.

Fact: Christ is building his church.

Will God accomplish this in ways where our limited minds might comprehend? Will God do things which we could say,"I could have done that".

In truth, do we really want to serve a God who's best ideas and strategies could have been devised man? De we want to serve a God who's people devise plans better than he can? As if God would look down and say, "wow, I never thought of that one. Way to go guys!"

Or do we want to be amazed! To be befudlled, astonished; blind-sided by the supernatural!

In truth, do we not long to see God do things only he can do?

Question: Can God build his Kingdom, establishing churches and worship in parts of the world where His name isn't currently glorified? Where people worship idols and false gods, not the one true God?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Can God do this in ways where man would evaluate the strategy and call it utter foolishness? (has man not considered God with disregard in times past?)

Answer: Absolutely.

Question: Can God establish his church and proclaim the Good News of his Son Jesus through the caring of orphaned and abandoned children all over the world?

Answer: Perhaps.

Wouldn't it be just like our God to plant churches and spread the Gospel through the least likely means, people, and places?

Answer: Yep. Sounds like our God.

Did you say, "Church planting through orphan care?"

Yep.

In the middle-east?

Yep.

Can God do this?

Answer: Yes.

Will He?

Only God knows.

Today we sent the documentation to the Iraqi Government to begin developing church-based orphan homes there.

"Please pray for Christ's name to be magnified through the least likely means- caring for orphans; through the least likely people- the Kurds; in the least likely place- Iraq."
