The Believers

Scripture from the Letter to the Hebrews

We are those who are to inherit a great salvation (1:14; 2:3), who heard the Gospel witnessed by miracles and received gifts distributed by the Holy Spirit (2:3-4), who share in a heavenly calling (3:1), who have believed (4:3), who have a great high priest (4:14), that have served and loved fellow saints (6:10), sanctified once for all by the once for all offering of Jesus’ body (9:10), those whom the Holy Spirit bears witness of being forgiven (9:18), who were enlightened, have endured struggles, suffering, and public persecution, who are companions of the suffering, the imprisoned, having endured the plundering of property (10:32-36), those who persevere and save their souls through faith and not shrink back (10:39), who are surrounded by a great throng of witnesses (12:1), but have not yet struggled to the point of death (12:4), and who have received a kingdom that cannot be shaken (12:28).

I pray that I never forget what I am because of You.
